Charger Nation – No School Thursday
Due to the late start time for the Girls State Basketball Quarterfinal in Salina on Wednesday evening, USD 329 will not hold school on Thursday.
The game tips off at 8:00 PM, and we know many of our players, families, students, and community members will be traveling to Salina to support the Chargers. With the late return expected on Wednesday night, we want to ensure everyone can travel safely and enjoy the opportunity to cheer on our team without worrying about an early start the next morning.
We are incredibly proud of this group of student-athletes and the outstanding season they have put together. Calling school on Thursday will hopefully allow as many members of Charger Nation as possible to make the trip and show their support as the girls compete in the state quarterfinals.
Let’s pack the stands in Salina and show the state what Charger Nation is all about!

Wabaunsee JH hosted the league quiz bowl meet today. JV finished 3rd and the Varsity team claimed the title of league champs!

USD 329 Community Notice
Families and community members are invited to attend the USD 329 Board of Education meeting next Monday evening at Wabaunsee Junior High School in the Commons. As part of our annual rotation of meeting locations, the Board hosts one meeting each year at a different campus. The Board meeting will begin at 6:00 PM.
For those interested in seeing the building, WJHS students will be offering guided tours beginning at 5:30 PM. These tours will provide an opportunity to view the current condition of the facility as the Board continues its discussions regarding potential facility improvements and future bond planning.
We welcome anyone who would like to attend the meeting or participate in the tours.

Registration for the 2026 Summer Rec Baseball/Softball season is underway. Please use the link below to sign your child(ren) up. Registrations are due by March 20th and payment needs to be submitted by March 26th. Practices will begin mid to late April for ages 7 and up and mid May for t-ball. Coaches set practice dates and times. The games will be played starting in mid May for ages 7 and up and June for t-ball.
