USD 329 Bond Information Center Is Now Live
On November 3, 2026, USD 329 voters will consider a proposed $14 million school bond centered on expanding local Career and Technical Education opportunities, addressing critical facility needs across our schools, and replacing three aging modular buildings with permanent spaces. The proposal includes HVAC, roofing, window, safety, and security improvements at WES, WJHS, and WHS.
Our new Bond Information Center provides the project overview, estimated tax impact, and supporting materials. Additional details, community meeting dates, renderings, and answers to frequently asked questions will be added throughout the process.

Join us on August 12 at 6:00 PM at Wabaunsee Elementary School for our School Grounds Clean-Up Evening. We’ll tackle the blacktop, weeds, gutters, and other outdoor projects. Come for a little while or stay as long as you can; every helping hand makes a difference! Please bring work gloves and any gardening tools you may have available.
Our students deserve school grounds that look as great as the people inside them. Let’s show what Charger Nation can accomplish together!

School begins Tuesday, August 18, for students in grades K–12. We will dismiss at 1:00 p.m., and there will be no afternoon preschool. We are excited to reconnect with our families and welcome students back into our buildings. Please continue watching for building-specific updates about transportation, schedules, classroom needs, and other opening-day details.

The WHS gymnasiums will be closed July 27–August 2 for scheduled maintenance. They will reopen on Monday, August 3.
❌ No access through the Commons entrance.
✅ The Weight Room entrance and Weight Room will remain open for members.

The Wabaunsee Junior High Weight Room Memberships will be deactivated, & the JH Commons entryway will be closed from next Monday, July 20, through Thursday, July 23, while the floors are being waxed. It will reopen on Friday, July 24th.
