Liz Seaton, Curator at the Beach Museum of Art in Manhattan, Kansas, gifted USD #329 “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” book, by Bryan Mealer and William Kamkwamba. We are so grateful to Ms. Seaton. She has donated much to our district throughout the years. Not only through gifts but she has donated her time as well, sharing her knowledge of art with us. Thank you so very much! We read “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” together, in art class. The students then made collages (art made out of paper), with inspiration from one of the pictures in the book.  AES~ https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1_HWNHXLaFjVyxFppjDY2I5v5UPvhxygL?usp=sharing MHS~ https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1nIr3OWznHNWFgoaaGhgD6qHnui8Kbwjn?usp=sharing
