MHES enjoyed a great day celebrating Kansas Days. Lots of activities were done.The 4th grade class made homemade bread and the Kindergarten class made butter.
They all did a great job. The students learned about days on the prairie, how to grow wheat and harvest it and also learned about handmade quilts. The best part of the day was making sunflower decorated sugar cookies and eating them!
