Stormont Vail Health is once again hosting their Sports Injury Clinic for area high school athletes.
A sports medicine physician and an athletic trainer will see athletes who may need immediate care for an injury sustained during a game, but didn’t need to visit the Emergency Department.
The clinic will be from 8 – 10 a.m. every Saturday from Sept. 3 – Oct. 29 at Cotton O’Neil Kanza Park, 2660 SW Third St., in Topeka. No appointment is necessary. Please enter through the west doors and proceed to the second floor.
Clinic visits will be billed to student athlete’s insurance and a specialty office visit co-pay will be assessed.
Injuries appropriate for the clinic include:
- Potential fractures
- Torn ligaments including ACL
- Dislocations
