New Elementary School Principal Announced
We are pleased to announce Dr. Kari Kephart as the new AES/MHE school principal. Dr. Kephart was BOE approved at a Special BOE meeting on Monday, December 17th. She will begin her duties starting in January. Previous work experience includes teaching all elementary grade levels in Maryland, serving as an assistant elementary principal, primary principal and elementary principal/superintendent in Maryland, Wyoming and Kansas.
Dr. Kephart has two daughters, a 9th and 2nd grader who will be attending Wabaunsee schools. Her expertise is in explicit classroom instruction, Multi Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions (PBIS).
