Wabaunsee High School’s 2024 Homecoming week will kick off Sunday, September 15th. Window painting will be downtown on Sunday from 1:00-3:00. Each class will paint a window. The school week will start off with a spirit day each day with GAME ON, INDIANS as the theme based on “board” games. The days are Monday - What Do You Meme, Tuesday - “Wear PINK (Battleship), Wednesday - Dress as a Nerd (Cranium), Thursday - Match with Someone or a Trio (UNO), and Friday - SORRY! (Freshmen-white, Sophomores-black, Juniors-blue, Seniors-red). Monday a parade will be held downtown at 6:15 pm followed by activities at the football field. Tuesday JV Tennis will compete at Baldwin and Volleyball hosts Osage City. Thursday varsity tennis will play at Ellsworth, JV tennis will compete in Wamego, Junior High football and volleyball will play at Osage City and Junior High/High School Cross Country will run at Northern Heights. On Friday, September 20th there will be an all-district pep rally at 2:30 at the high school. Friday evening will start with the crowning before the football game at 6:15. The football team will play Osage City at 7:00. A high school dance will be held on Saturday from 8:00 - 10:00 pm. 

If your business or group wishes to participate in the parade on Monday, September 16th line up starts at 6:00 pm on Kansas Street. Please contact Jenny Schutter or Amy Cassell if you wish to have a float. After the parade, the community is welcome to come to the football field for the team introductions (rec, junior high, and high school) and high school powder puff game. Booster Club will provide a hot dog meal to the entire community for a free-will donation during the football field activities.

Friday 9/20 - 1:00 - crowning practice (cheer, stuco, candidates)
