Kathy Michaelis recently applied for a $500 grant with the Federal Home Loan Bank for lunch balances at USD 329. In her grant, she stated, "sometimes a school meal is the only meal some kids get, and giving to others is so near and dear to me. With the rising cost of all items, this would benefit so many."
