Payton Wurtz , Wabaunsee High Junior participated at the USATF Junior Olympics this Summer in Eugene Oregon. Track Town USA July 24 - 26. as a member of the Kansas Flyers Track Team.
Payton competed in the 15-16 year old girls division as a member of the 4x800 Relay Team that took 1st Place with a time of 9:22.46 She also participated in the 1500m race finishing in 4th place with a time of 4:53.84.
